SpongeBob Gets A Makeover
To add to his list of collaborations, Karl Lagerfeld gives another iconic character a makeover. Painted in gold, thin black shades, leather gloves, and a fancy white shirt, SpongeBob looks like he’s red for red carpet hautness!
The figurine got the highest bid at a recent Paris fundraiser for WWF, generating 1,000 euros, or about $1,500 at current exchange.
Supermodel Barbies
Reality meets fantasy when real life supermodels have their own Barbie dolls. The Heidi Klum doll comes complete with blonde wavy hair, super long legs, a sequinned minidress, and miniature gold Dior heels, the new doll forms part of Mattel’s special edition Blonde Ambition collection, which pays tribute to iconic blondes in fashion and entertainment.

Dover Street Market X Barbie’s 50th Anni
London’s Dover Street Market has dedicated a shop in its window selling a selection of Barbie items for this cause. These items are curated by fashion designer, Henry Holland. The anniversary is promoted with a large scale Barbie bust sculpture window display at Dover Street Market created by set designer, Andy Hillman, and sculptor, Martin Smeaton. The large scale bust of vintage Barbie with a lipstick can be seen clearly through the store window. Holland designed some outfits for Barbie’s 50th Anniversary, and these Barbie dolls are on sale from April 8 for two weeks at Dover Street Market.
Pac Man Stools
The exhibition, KRAZY! is New York’s first major show dedicated to the Japanese Anime, Manga, and Video Games. These Pac Man stools were made specifically for the exhibit’s gaming area by Japanese architectural firm Atelier Bow-Wow. These aren’t for sale but I want em!!!
